Performed site surveys nation wide for AC/DC (-48V) power or data transmission per customer needs. Surveys and Design warranted in-depth understanding of DC power, Rectifiers, Distribution Bays, Transformers, inverters, Bus Bar, BDFB’s, Battery strings, PDC, PDF, PDU, UPS all the way up to the Equipment Bays and how all are interconnected to create a DC power plant. Understanding of how commercial AC is integrated into DC power plants from main AC panels through ATS and MTS switching to Main Distribution Panels into rectifiers. Understanding of Inverter plants conversion of DC to AC in the DC power Plant. Using customer’s voltage drop requirements, calculated cable sizes requirements for DC power plants from battery strings to Main Battery Term bars or Bus bar. Wrote detailed engineering specifications package including M.O.Ps according to customer

standards or Telcordia GR-1275. Updated or created new office record drawing for new or existing Central office buildings using Auto-cad. Performed FEV (Front Equipment View) surveys for the purpose of equipment placement, heat dissipation and cataloging equipment in network cabinets. Febuary-1999 To June-2002;

Engineered and integrated telecommunication equipment into existing and new central offices. Interfaced with Job Quoters, System Engineers, Resource Managers, Equipment Manufacturers, Project Team Managers (PTM), installation crews and the customers to ensure successful completion of the scope work. Performed site surveys nation wide as required for the purpose of preparing quotations and/or laying out project requirements for AT&T. Created and updated office records, documentation for customers and Bill of Material (BOM) as required for each project. Wrote detailed job specifications package according to customer standards, N.E.C, GR-1275 and methods of procedures (MOP) for scope of work for the customer. Oversaw multiple projects at any given time; Projects include engineering, furnishing and Installation (EF&I) of Power equipment such as Rectifier, AC-DC converter, Battery Strings, Data Gathering Unit, BDFB, Supplemental Bay, DMACS and Alarm Node for -48V Power Plant. Planned out high and low level framing to facilitate cable racking in central offices.

Febuary-1999 To June-2002 (Working both power and Data at the same time for Marconi)

Integrated various switches and network routing equipment for transmission according to AT&T provided Project letter. Performed Site Survey which required experience in Frame Rely, Switches, ATM, Routers and DSL Broadband, etc. Media used for these projects are -48V DC Power, DSX3, DS1, fibers [OC3, OC12, OC48, OC192] Collaborated with other engineers to generate unique ideas in the execution of projects.
Power / Data Drafter
Formally trained on Auto-Cad. Created new or modified existing central office /Data Centers drawings, including Floor plans, Grounding plans, Cable racking plans, HVAC/ fire suppression plans and all related equipment T, SD and J drawings. Translated installation specs into graphical representation in Auto-Cad according to customer standards of drawings and specifications.
